“Now you listen here Piccolo, if anything and I mean anything bad happens to my son, I don’t care about how strong you are, but I will find you and end you, understand that mister.” Chi-Chi said standing in front of Piccolo with her finger in his face.
“Y... eah I understand.” Piccolo said looking down at her with surprise.
“Umm… Chi-Chi you don’t want to do that he can kill you easily you understand that right?” Bulma said trying to calm her down
“Come on guys help me.” Bulma whispered to Krillin and Master Roshi
Yeah, I’m not getting in the middle of that she has this handled and besides that… she scares me.” Krillin said looking away from Chi-Chi
“Mommy I’ll be ok don’t worry.” Gohan said pulling Chi-Chi away from Piccolo
“Oh honey, I’m your mom I will always worry about you its my job.” Chi-Chi said looking down at him.
“Ok brat I’ll give you some time to say your goodbye’s this is the st time you’re going to see everyone until the saiyans are defeated.” Piccolo said looking down at Gohan before walking away.
“Ok bye everyone.” Gohan said hugging his crying mom and waving to everyone else,
“Hey, Gohan are you sure you want to go train with Piccolo, I can train you and Master Roshi can help to remember he trained your dad and me, so you don’t have to be scared of Piccolo.” Krillin said looking at Gohan with concern in his eyes.
Gohan looked at Krillin smiling “Yes, I’m sure, I want to make my daddy proud of how strong I am when he comes back. Bye mommy I love you.” Gohan gave a finale wave and ran off to where Piccolo was waiting “I’m ready to go Mister Piccolo.”
“Why are you calling me that?” Piccolo asked looking down at Gohan
“You are going to be my teacher right I have to call you that right?” Gohan asked looking up at Piccolo, Piccolo didn’t answer he just looked down at Gohan for a few seconds before picking him up and flying off.

After arriving at an open field Piccolo nded and dropped Gohan then looked down at him “Ok brat like I said before I’m going to train you and I won’t be going easy on you just because you are a kid. But before I start training you are going to have to survive out here by yourself to toughen up and if you mange that, then the real training begins.” Piccolo flew off before Gohan could say anything.
“Wait…what… don’t leave me; I’ve never been by all alone before…” Gohan started to chase after Piccolo, but he couldn't even see him anymore, so he stopped running. “Sob…sob…I’ve never been by myself before. What am I going to eat, where will I sleep…sob...sob…” Gohan was walking while rubbing his eyes until he ran into something and he saw a pair of two huge feet and when he looked up, he saw a T-Rex looking down at him with saliva dripping down its open mouth showing its razor-sharp teeth.
Gohan started to run in the opposite direction screaming while the T-Rex chased him for a while until Gohan tripped in front of a mountain as the T-Rex closed in on him, Gohan closed his eyes thinking that this was it.
When Gohan didn’t feel the teeth tearing into him, he slowly opened his eyes and found himself on top of the mountain he slowly crawled to the ledge and saw the T-Rex at the bottom of the mountain. Gohan slowly crawled back to the center of the mountain and started to cry “…sob...sob…how am I supposed to get down I can’t fly yet and it’s too high for me to climb down what if I fall.” Gohan decided to do nothing for now and stay on top of the mountain crying himself to sleep wishing he had gone with Krillin to train instead of coming with Piccolo. When Gohan woke up ter it, was night already and he was hungry, and he was still stuck on top of the mountain with no other way down.

Suddenly, some apples bigger than his hands appeared in front of him, “Where did these come from there’s no tree near me, and I’m too high up for these to have fallen from somewhere else. Oh well.” Gohan grabbed one of the apples with both hands and bit into it with a smile on his face as the juices slid down the corners of his mouth “Tasty.” Gohan ate all the apples before he let out a satisfied sigh and patted his stomach.
“That hit the spot, but now how am I going to get down from here.” The clouds in the night sky parted revealing the full moon whose light shone on Gohan’s back casting a shadow and making him turn around to stare at the moon. “Wow is that the moon it is beautiful, I’ve never seen the moon before. This must be a full moon.” Gohan started to feel different while looking at the moon, his heart started to beat faster and louder (thump…thump…thump), his tail started to twitch uncontrolbly, his body started to spasm, his breathing started to pick up and he started to gasp and that was the st thing Gohan remembered before he bcked out.

When Gohan woke up the next day, he was on the ground with a sword next to him and he was wearing new clothes that looked just like his father, an orange gi, with a blue undershirt, blue belt, wrist bands, and boots but it had a different symbol on the front than the one his father had his symbol read demon instead of turtle.
“What happened…how did I get down from the mountain, and where did I get these clothes?” Gohan stood up and wabbled as he had trouble keeping his bance he reached around and felt his butt and felt something missing. “Where’s my tail!?” Gohan shouted as he was turning his body to try and see behind him where his tail used to be. “Oh… well I guess it must have fallen off; I wish I could ask someone about it.” Gohan shrugged and decided to not worry about it for now.
“If I’m going to survive, I need to find a pce to rest and find some food and water first, I can’t cry all day. I need to get stronger if I want to protect everyone.” Gohan stated to walk around trying to find a pce that he would be able to rest, after 30 minutes he found a cave, he decided to explore it to see if there was anything inside.
Gohan walked for a few minutes until he started to go up a small incline until he reached the back of the cave, it was about 10 feet from the opening to the back of the cave. “Ok this looks like a good pce to rest, now I just have to find some water and then food.” Gohan left the cave and walked around looking for a water source and he found a crystal-clear ke a mile north from the cave that was surrounded by some trees with some fruits hanging from its branches. “Ok this water looks drinkable, now I just need to find something to hold water in so that I don’t have to walk all the way here every time I want water.
As the days passed Gohan fell into a routine of hunting for food, collecting water and learning about pnts that he could use to help with injuries and that would go well with the food he cooked. Gohan noticed that he had gotten stronger as he walked, climbed, jumped, and hunted; he also noticed that he had better control over his Ki than before. He first noticed one day when he jumped high into the sky over the T-Rex that had chased him when he first got here as he came back down behind the T-Rex he decided to use his sword to cut a part of its tail off. The T-Rex looked back when he felt the cut and saw Gohan behind it with a piece of its tail and it ran off while Gohan waved at it ughing, “Thanks for the food.”

Age 761 November 1st, Wildness
Gohan would continue this routine for days, he would go out and hunt for food, collect water, and wood for a fire. He learned how to take care of small injuries with the help of some local pnts. He also was able to finally learn how to fly one day when he ran into the T-Rex again he jumped over it to cut off a piece of its tail, but he stayed in the air longer than usual and noticed that he was flying.
Piccolo came to find Gohan early one morning to talk with him “Listen up kid you’ve done better than I expected so I am going to start training you early tomorrow morning so rest up, someone wants to see me. I’ll see you tomorrow morning kid.” Piccolo said.
“Ok Mister Piccolo.” Gohan responded, ter that afternoon while Gohan was walking towards his cave while carrying a piece of tail he cut from the same T-Rex that chased him a month ago, suddenly the sky turned bck, “What’s going on it was sunny and now it’s dark all of a sudden, that’s weird.” Gohan looked at up at the sky turning his head in confusion. This sted for a couple of minutes before the sky suddenly cleared up just as quickly it become night. “That was strange, I wonder what that was.” Gohan looked back into the sky before shrugging his shoulders and continued walking to his cave, to eat his dinner and head to bed early looking forward to training.

(AN: Gohans survival arc was never going to be long. For a couple of reasons One I decided that since Gohan had already started training, he just need an extra push to man up in simpler terms. Two I think that since Piccolo has been watching over him like he did in the anime he would notice that he already has the basics down so he would go straight to training him, instead of wasting the time in the wildness, that way they both get stronger. Gohan is showing respect to Piccolo early on because his mother taught him too always be respectful. I know Gohan is four years old and he possibly wouldn’t know much about surviving on his own, so I decided to add my own personal expnation for that. Since we all know that Chi-Chi makes Gohan read a lot, who is to say he hasn’t read a couple of survivor books for fun.)
