Over a hundred years in the future, mankind has expanded its galactic reach, meeting new species and, with them, establishing a new era of civilization. Lex is a young human businessman who, on a whim, has decided to take his vacation at a relatively newly-colonized planet called Island Maroon. This short story follows him during his first day on the "New Red Planet."
