More than five hundred years had passed since the Archangels decided to enter the confines of Earth. However, for them, only one year had gone by in that place. They were completely unaware of all that had happened outside; they had only been training and recovering from their wounds.
Soon after, they went out in search of those who would join their group. Once outside, they noticed many changes: the planet seemed to be drying up, and the smell of death hung in the air. It was very different from how they had left it. They also sensed multiple strong presences scattered everywhere. Confused by the situation, they decided to go see Agatha for an explanation.
Meanwhile, the Watchers who ruled the surface had formed an army of "Night Walkers." Asael had discovered that with his blood, he could turn ordinary humans into his servants, granting them longevity and strength. However, these new beings needed the blood of other humans to survive, turning them into hunters.
Endowed with strength, speed, and other qualities, these Night Walkers were nearly immortal. Nevertheless, they had one weakness: the sun. Because of this, they were forced to roam only in darkness. The sin that this Watcher had committed against life would surely be unforgivable.
Agatha sent messengers to many giant clans to warn them about the powerful enemy she had faced, a prodigy named Mars, and about the possibility that there were others like him. They had to be on alert.
Her younger brother, Herald, led most of the giants living in the far northeast. Having discovered the exact location of many of the hybrids, he decided to attack them by surprise, unaware that in that place not only the prodigies lived but also Asael and Matrael themselves.
With a group of almost two hundred brave warriors, Herald launched a frontal ambush against the lair of these powerful enemies. The battle lasted only two days. There was much bloodshed and countless fatalities. Herald, being the only survivor, was at Asael's mercy, who killed him without hesitation and then sent his body parts to all the giant clans during the night, along with a message that read:
—“Join… or die.”
Earth was under the law of the strongest.
When the news of her brother’s death arrived, Agatha broke into tears. Pain and sorrow consumed her. Her heart filled with rage and hatred, so she decided to seek revenge, regardless of the consequences this decision might bring not only upon herself but also upon her people. One of her advisors warned her that if she died, it would mean the end for the giants. The end of their race.
But the young woman was blinded by anger. She grabbed her weapons and was preparing to leave when, at that very moment, the three Archangels arrived.
Upon seeing them, her tears flowed again, like a child seeing her mother after a long time. Uriel ran to console her best friend, who, despite her size, had a fragile heart.
Once the waters calmed, Agatha told them everything: the death of her parents, the appearance of humans, the Night Walkers, the prodigies, her brother’s murder, and the existence of the gods of war. She told them of all the damage that had occurred thus far.
Uriel and the others couldn’t believe how much time had passed outside. Therefore, they decided to adapt their schedules to Earth's time, to avoid such a mistake from happening again. Suspecting that the Arkanian Watchers were on the planet, Raphael decided to go out and observe the world to confirm just how dire the situation was.
While flying over a desert at nightfall, he saw a lone man walking toward the city of the giants. In the distance, several strange humans were approaching the traveler at high speed. This caught the Archangel’s attention, who suspected they might be Night Walkers. He decided to intervene immediately, as he could see perfectly in the dark, just like those dangerous attackers.
The frightened traveler couldn’t see anything happening. He only heard the savage screams of the creatures as Raphael eliminated them.
—"Who's there?" —asked the man, fearful.
—"Do not fear, human. I mean you no harm," —Raphael responded, then asked— "What are you doing alone in these lands? Don’t you know the danger hidden in these deserts?"
Hearing that strange voice in the darkness, the young man replied:
—"I know, but the world’s situation has worsened. To protect my people, I need help from the giants. I’ve heard their leader is very strong, and maybe she can help us."
—"Perhaps you don’t know, but humans and giants are currently at war. Still… you’re willing to risk going there?" —asked Raphael, testing his heart.
—"I know that too. But humans are not only at war with Agatha and her people, but among themselves. I’m ashamed of all the harm our species has done to this planet, but I appeal to their good hearts. The fact that a stranger —whom I can’t even see— has saved me tonight confirms I’m on the right path," —the young man answered sincerely.
Hearing those words, Raphael's spirit was moved. He hadn’t believed there were still humans with hearts like this.
—"I see you are trustworthy. I’ll accompany you until you fulfill your mission, so that no evil interferes with your path," —said the Archangel.
He then lit a trail of blue light in front of the traveler to mark the way. It also provided warmth, protecting him from the cold of night.
As they walked through the desert, Raphael asked:
—"What’s your name, traveler?"
—"My name is Enoch," —replied the young man.

Hearing that name, the Archangel stopped. He began to glow, lighting the area, and revealing himself to the human. He said:
—"Enoch, son of man, my name is Raphael, and I come from another world. You have been chosen to accompany us from now on."
The young man understood his journey was no coincidence. He realized his purpose and accepted without hesitation the command of Raphael.
The Archangel told him the secrets of his world, of the past and the possible future. He told him he must leave his family and go to the confines of Earth with them, until the moment of the final battle. Enoch accepted the mission but asked for permission to first return to his family and speak to them about what was to come.
Raphael allowed him. He tore a piece of his robe, tied it around the young man’s arm, and told him that cloth would protect him and suspend the passage of time. He ordered him never to take it off and promised to return for him in fifty years.
Enoch returned home and told his family everything the Archangel had revealed so that his descendants could purify themselves from all evil.
Some time later, Uriel and her companions traveled the world and saw that much of humanity had been corrupted by Asael’s plague. The rest grew strong and violent, with no respect for life, destroying everything in their path. The race of giants and the animals were in grave danger. The children of the Arkanians were uncontrollable and had allied with the Earth’s demons to spread terror everywhere.
There were rumors that a man named Hercules, accompanied by Perseus and a young woman named Athena, were fighting against the hybrids, demons, and Night Walkers. Because of this, Asael went to Shemihaza to warn him that three of his own children were fighting against his order and had already killed many. The Patriarch sent soldiers to find them and speak with them, but of the three messengers, only one returned—badly wounded—with a message that read:
—“Father, you have sown evil in this world… and we will eradicate it.”
Upon receiving that message, Shemihaza washed his hands of the matter and left Asael and Matrael to decide what to do. They ordered their capture… and execution.
A powerful group of hybrids, made up of Mars, Hyperion, and Balthazar, accompanied by a hundred demons, intercepted the three heroes on the southern banks of a river, where they were resting. Taken by surprise, Hercules and his companions entered a fierce battle with overwhelming odds. The fight lasted from dawn until dusk. Many demons were slain, but the heroes were left badly injured, their strength nearly exhausted.
To their misfortune, Matrael arrived as reinforcements. This powerful Arkanian completely shifted the battle. Using his abilities, he grievously wounded Perseus, leaving him seemingly dead. Hercules and Athena were on the verge of collapse. Matrael ordered Balthazar and the demons to finish them off.
But just as they were about to strike, a powerful lightning bolt fell upon the hybrid, splitting his body in two. The others, stunned, saw a sword crackling with lightning embed itself into the ground… it was Uriel’s sword! After felling the enemy, the sword returned to her hand.
Then, like a falling meteor, Agatha struck the demons with fury, crushing them with her immense strength.
And in the sky, the Archangels appeared with their powerful auras ablaze. Matrael, stunned, said:
—"But… it’s you! How is this possible?"
—"You saw it… we are still here… and your end is near," —Gabriel replied.
Having said this, they swiftly descended, grabbed the three heroes, and with Raphael’s ability, disappeared from the battlefield.
—"They’ve vanished!" —shouted the children of the Watchers.
Matrael, in silence, was stunned. They had believed the Archangels had died in the battle against the Titans.
—"We must warn the others," —he finally said.
Meanwhile, Uriel and the others arrived at the giants’ refuge and quickly tended to the wounds of Hercules and his brothers, who were still alive. But a troubling thought weighed on the Archangels’ minds, caused by all they had seen.
Once recovered, the heroes met with Enoch and the Archangels. Uriel spoke and shared everything they had witnessed and what was yet to come. Those present could not hide their shock and concern at what they heard.
Then the warrior made a dangerous proposal:
—"We’ve seen the state of the world. The little life that remains is in danger, and we can’t allow extinction to happen. Fighting everyone head-on would be a bad idea."
—"Then what do you propose?" —asked Raphael—. "If we fight, we’ll likely lose… and if we do nothing, this world will become hell."
—"Remember, when we arrived here, more than sixty percent of the planet was covered in water. After opening the seal, the water receded… but I don’t think it disappeared. I believe it gave space for life to flourish. Now that life is dying. From what I calculate, the water was absorbed into the earth, into the plants and living beings. It’s practically the source of all life on this planet… What I’m saying is…"
—"Are you suggesting we flood the entire world?" —interrupted Athena—. "That would be madness! Everything we did will be in vain… and the rest of life will die."
—"Unless… we save the remnant somehow," —interjected Agatha.
—"But explain this… how do we do that if everything gets submerged?" —Athena asked again.
At that moment, silence fell as everyone pondered a possible solution. Then, Enoch, watching some ants entering and exiting a tree, had an idea:
—"A house… one that can withstand the water."
Everyone turned to him, surprised by his words, and his face showed conviction. Then they began to support him. Now the question was how to build such a house.
—"My people have built houses from wood and clay. Over time, they became skilled. There aren’t many of my descendants left, but we can go see if any remain who can build it," —Enoch suggested.
Uriel smiled and said:
—"Then there’s nothing more to discuss. This is what we’ll do…
We’ll split into teams. First, we need to calculate the size of the ark, its base, and ensure it can float without sinking. Raphael will handle the numbers.
Next, we’ll find Enoch’s descendants to instruct them on what to do, how, and why. For now, the place they live in is safe, and Hercules, Raphael, and Perseus will ensure it stays that way.
Agatha, you’ll go with Gabriel to gather the remaining giants and lead them to the north. There they’ll wait, because later we’ll bring them to a place the waters cannot reach.
Athena, Enoch, and I will gather all the surviving animals and guide them to the ark to prevent extinction. We’ll gather two of each species—male and female—to ensure their reproduction.
Once the ark is finished, we’ll seal it with our power so that water, cold, or any other force cannot penetrate it. When everything is ready, and the humans and animals are safe, we’ll retreat to our home until the waters recede again.
I’m sure most humans and hybrids will die. It sounds cruel… but we have no other option if we want to save this world. Is that clear?"
Doubtful, Enoch asked:
—"And how do we make all that water return?"
—"Don’t worry," —Uriel replied—. "Gabriel, Raphael, and I will take care of that. So now…
Let’s work together, because we’re going to make it happen!"
Uriel’s risky plan to save the world was set in motion. It had to be carried out in absolute secrecy to prevent the Arkanians from finding out and trying to interfere. Therefore, everyone acted with discretion and unwavering dedication.
