People seem to think they are entitled

  to something that isn’t remotely earned.

  Many are left shaken and even rattled

  when all that’s given are lessons learned.

  We often covet for things not our own

  wanting them like a spoiled little brat.

  Yet for reasons that remain unknown

  our desires come short and fall flat.

  I try every single day to not act that way

  attempting to be considerate of others.

  I’m not cruel or crass, I just want to play

  treating all like my sisters and brothers.

  Everyone works so had just to survive

  try to have fun, for no one gets out alive.
