"Humph, Humph, Humph..." Riley crossed her arms in front of her chest and raised her head after beating poor Shawn in a ridiculously unfair competition which she forced him to participate in against his will and ended up with him not only losing but gasping for breath while feeling like his poor heart is going to stop!

  'Maybe I should quit smoking! I'm so out of shape its embarrassing.' Shawn thought while trying to congratute Riley but his smile ended up being crooked and extremely ugly.

  Bryan was busy drinking a cocktail and kissing his girls while his hands greedily squeezed their butts and roamed on their backs, thighs, chests, bellies, and wherever he liked.

  His excitement was off the charts and his little brother was in all his glory and extended parallel to his legs and resting on his left thigh, reaching all the way to the edge of his trunks and falling a tiny bit short in actually reaching his knee.

  Linnet and Celest were about to retort and defend their boyfriend once they heard these unfair accusations, but Bryan covered their mouths with his hands and shook his head.

  It's not a secret that he and Riley don't see eye-to-eye and it's alright with him since he only cares about Linnet and Shawn.

  As long as this foolish girl doesn't do anything to harm his loved ones then he's willing to ignore her whenever they meet since her childish attempts to provoke him are harmless.

  But he still need to draw a clear line to show her that there's a limit to his patience and not everything can be swept under the rug, once something she does or says can't slide then... Riley's time within his small circle would be up and she'd get kicked out immediately without being given any excuse.

  "Since you're requested a friendly bet them I'm going to set the rules," Bryan let go of Celest and Linnet before pushing his feet against the edge which caused his floating body to move towards Shawn and Riley's direction slowly, "Shawn, Celest, Linnet, and Isabelle are going to stand on the four sides of pool and pass that ball between them randomly for as many times as you want... Whenever one of us reaches the side of the person who has the ball first they get to receive a point and the winner is the one who manages to get a clear ten point difference."

  "Alright! What's the terms of our bet?" Riley's eyes brightened and she smiled slyly like a fox while letting go of Shawn.

  Bryan shrugged, "If you win you're allowed to demand whatever you want from me other than asking for the impossible like breaking up with your beloved Linnet or stop being friends with Shawn and things like that."

  Riley swam even closer to him while saying : "Good. Count me in." And ignored Linnet who tried to discourage her from accepting the bet with a few hand gestures after sitting on the edge of the pool.

  Celest just rolled her eyes at this stubborn girl who's being way overconfident then patted Linnet on the shoulder to stop while shaking her head.

  Bryan simply ignored Riley and gestured with chin for Isabelle to hold the ball and swam to the center of the pool and waited for Shawn, Celest, and Linnet to take their positions before looking to the beauty who look like a mermaid in the water in her blue bikini and slim body.

  "If I win then you need to understand that you wont be allowed anywhere near me and my girls in the future if you ever disrespect again, I welcome fun anytime of the day and I can tolerate scorn as well as contempt whenever you're keeping a modest degree of voicing your feelings but... Whenever you try to make me an object of ridicule in public just to satisfy a bit of your massive ego always remember this." Bryan said while giving Riley a side-gnce before adding : "There's always someone better than you in the world however... No one is better than me!"

  Riley gred at him after sensing Bryan's words poke at her swelling pride!

  Deep inside she decided to give this competition her best just to put him in his tiny and lowly pce where he belongs, because what he just said makes this personal between them.

  Isabelle smiled after sensing the air getting stuffy with hotblooded emotions of competitiveness once Riley's switch was flipped on, "Ready?"

  "Wait." Bryan said before looking at Riley who smiled knowingly and provocatively because she thought he was having second thoughts but he ignored her actions completely and added : "Just to crify the rules once again, the four of you are only allowed to pass the ball once one of us reach and touch the edge of the pool below your feet.

  "You're free to choose any direction to pass the ball to your partners at random with no set of patterns being required.

  "In case one of us is deyed then you're required to give us directions on which way to go next once we reach your side.

  "Refrain from talking too much during the competition because I don't want Riley to compin and give the excuse of you guys confusing her once she loses."

  *Humph*

  Riley just snorted and floated next to him in the middle of the pool without saying anything, everyone could sense how she's sharpening her focus when she became silent.

  "Go." Isabelle said while passing the ball to Shawn and Riley immediately took advantage of being closer to him and turned her body then pulled with one of her arms while kicking the water with her legs, of course she didn't forget to block Bryan's way with her body while intentionally spshing water in his face with her tiny and weak-looking feet.

  But what shocked her was the head which surfaced about a meter in front of her before Bryan's body suddenly moved a few meters ahead and she felt the water resisting her motions once she tried to close the distance... Riley felt like she's in a raging river and swimming against the strong current!

  'What's going on?' Riley asked herself while making her way towards Shawn's side once the unexpinable force which was pushing against her body relented but her eyes were looking towards Bryan who was already touching the edge below Celest's feet and turning to make his way towards Isabelle who just received the ball.

  "3:1" Linnet said which caused Riley to realize how disadvantaged she's in this competition, for some reason she felt bad for Shawn after realizing how he must've felt when she bullied him earlier.

  "7:2" Celest said once Bryan touched the edge underneath her feet and passed the ball to Shawn then looked towards poor Riley who was still on her way to Isabelle.

  "8:3" Shawn said while passing the ball to Isabelle and discovered the Bryan's movements were getting faster because it took him less than two seconds to reach the other side of the pool in a single smooth movement below the surface.

  "10:4" Linnet said while shaking her head after seeing Bryan overtake her best friend once again and push his advantage to six points already!

  But Riley's fighting spirit is still worthy of their admiration which caused Linnet to stop feeling sorry for her friend and openly cheer her on while shouting directions before she reached a side.

  Indeed these actions worked wonders as Celest expected from Riley who takes these sorts of encouragement attempts and turns them into a powerful resource to feed her motivation.

  "12:5" Isabelle said while inwardly shaking her head because even when this Riley girl is an excellent swimmer and she really is giving it her absolute best in this competition... Bryan is still able to keep pushing the advantage in his favor.

  Only Isabelle and Celest were the ones actually able to notice that unlike his female competitor this guy isn't even trying hard, judging by how he keeps making his way between them while diving deep and moving with his chest stuck to the bottom of the pool and only surfacing to touch the edge before diving once again after confirming the next direction.

  Riley's movements paused once Shawn confirmed that she actually lost so badly and she fell in a daze, simply unable to believe somebody can beat her in her own sport with such a wide margin!

  Of course she also noticed that unlike her who swam her way between the sides of the pool, Bryan was diving most of the time and judging by the few times she saw his condition... That annoying fellow was so rexed and not out of breath like herself.

  "You're so amazing Ry!" Linnet shouted while jumping into the water and nding less than a meter from her best friend.

  "Bff... Idiot! Did you forget that you can't swim?" Riley wiped her face and helped her friend who was already starting to drown.

  "Tehehe... I'm not worried because you're here to save my butt Ry." Linnet said while sticking close to her best friend, obviously she was trying to cheer Riley up after her loss to Bryan.

  But once Linnet's lips moved closer to Riley during their hug she whispered : "Next time you ever disrespect my man I'll strangle you myself! Understood?" But immediately after saying that she pushed her best friend away and acted like she's going to drown and shouted : "Save me Ry!" While acting in such a dramatic manner which was so exaggerated.

  Riley felt cold once her eyes met Linnet's gaze and immediately understood that her best friend wasn't joking at all about what she just said judging by the amount of seriously frightening and dreadful amount of rage hidden deep within Linnet's eyes!
