Chapter 102: The Hive Laboratory

"Got it!" Tang Don responded faintly, and then ignored the loyal servant. The guy didn't say a word, but stared at the "Hundred-Man Warrior" suit, almost carving greed onto his face.

"The master has some habits, I think you must be eager to know, and I'll speak a few good words for you. You might even become the supervisor."

The loyal servant showed an air of superiority and reported the orders he had heard from Dofenke in advance, asking for a reward.

"One set of armor is definitely not enough, I must get at least half of that 30,000 gold coins!" The loyal servant was calculating how much he could get when he saw Tang Don and Hamlet turn around and leave, and he was stunned. He quickly shouted, "Hey, wait!"

"Hmm? Is there something else?" Downton deliberately pretended not to see the intention of Zhongpu, blinking his puzzled eyes.

"Hmm, well, with me around, you'll find it easier to gain the trust of the master, understand? The loyal servant was about to die from anxiety, never expecting to run into a fool. He took out his money pouch and held it in the palm of his hand, shaking it."

"Oh, you want to give me a gift, I understand." Tandon snatched the money bag away, too lazy to continue pretending with his loyal servant. The fact that this guy only dared to appear after the supervisor left showed that he didn't have much status. Besides, even if he was a trusted aide, Tandon didn't want to humiliate himself.

Loyal servant was blinded, still wanting to chase, even thinking of clarifying the underlying message, but six corpse-eating ghosts blocked his way, intercepting his path.

"Hmph, disrespect me? Wait for your doom!" The loyal servant spat on the ground, looking at the silent demon servant, and in the end didn't dare to say another word.

"He's asking you for money, with this attitude of yours, you'll be taken advantage of." Hamlet hesitated for a moment before speaking out, he didn't want to see Downton suffer, but neither did he want to see him go groveling to others.

"Anyone who wants me to put on a smiling face, there hasn't been one in the past and won't be one in the future!" Tang Dun clenched his fists, "If you want to look for trouble with me, then make preparations to get beaten up!"

"Great, no shame for our Holy Knights!"

Hamlet patted Danton on the shoulder, a reassuring smile spreading from the corners of his mouth. To be honest, when he learned that Danton had been exempted from the mineral tax and stood up to challenge the big workers, he took this young man as a friend worth making friends with.

"Downton, I'm sorry, I was scared out of my wits that day. Actually, I was really worried about you."

Ge Ce suddenly ran to the front of Tang Don, blocking his way and apologizing. He now regretted it to death. If he had made good relations with Tang Don and become a trusted aide, he wouldn't have to work himself to death in the mine now.

"Ah, I see." Danton stretched out his arm, pushed aside Gertz and beckoned to Hamlet. "I have some fine wines; won't you taste them?"

"Dogmatically, Templars are not allowed to drink alcohol, that would make our wills less firm." Hare refused, "I only drink water."

"This is a celebration, so let's make an exception!" Downton treated Hare as a friend, or else he wouldn't have given him the victory wine that had been stored in the cellar for three thousand years.

Ge Ce knew that his behavior at the entrance of the mine would never be understood by Tang Dun.

"I told you, someone as formidable as him wouldn't be friends with a softie like you?" A few miners walked over and dragged Gertz back to the dormitory, "Don't just stand there, hurry up and fetch hot water, we need to soak our feet."

"My clothes are also dirty and can't be washed before tomorrow, so you'll just have to wait for them to be mended!"

The miners were laughing and joking, but Gertz seemed to be in the crowd, yet he couldn't blend in at all. He was just a poor devil who was being bossed around and bullied by everyone in the dormitory.

Ge Ce couldn't understand why two people who entered the mine at the same time had such vastly different experiences. Tang Dun not only became a big boss, but was also personally promoted by Master Zhen.

Just thinking about a month of mining life, Gats couldn't help but wonder how he could hold on? If it weren't for the watchtowers and guards all around, he really wanted to escape.

Jackson ultimately didn't get to eat fresh brains and entrails, which was an uncomfortable eating habit for Downton, but the remaining souls weren't wasted, all of which were absorbed by the magic book.

In the foreman's quarters, without Tang Don's orders, diligent miners had already cleaned up a room and were waiting for him to move in.

Those who were chosen by Tang Don stood up straight with their chests out, with a smug look on their faces, and of course, they became even more loyal to the big boss.

"Hannah and they might be looking for trouble with you, so be careful." Hamlet hesitated for a moment before saying it.

"It's already been found." The war room door opened, and the bronze arm not only brought out a bucket of fine wine, but also took out two exquisitely crafted silver cups.

"Are you hurt?" Hale knew Hanna's strength, if they fought, Tong would be crushed. "If you meet them again, just push them onto me!"

"Have a drink, this is fine wine that has been stored for many years." Downton took a sip, savoring the sweetness, and handed another cup to Hare.

Downton did it on purpose. With his status, he naturally wouldn't get such fine wine. As long as Hare isn't stupid, he should be able to guess its origin, especially since Hannah had said so.

Mo Tian understood that Tang Dun wanted to see if Hare was approaching him in order to obtain the secrets of Wuya Ridge underground castle, but this probe was too risky.

Even if Tang Dun goes all out, he can't beat Halle.

"Good wine!" Looking at the red liquid, Halle praised and pushed away Tanton's arm, "Thanks, just a glass of water is fine."

Harley was a devout follower who adhered to the precepts, even when faced with the sweet victory wine, he could hold back his mouth's impulse.

"Has anyone ever told you that your name sounds like a prince?" Downton recalled the Shakespearean classic he had once mentioned to Ceres, and now a 'Hamlet' stood before him, which seemed somewhat inconceivable.

"No!" Hare's eyelid twitched, his gaze dropped, and he shook his head slightly.

In casual conversation, Halle didn't mention Raven Ridge at all, but instead analyzed Tang Dun's current situation and how to turn danger into safety.

"It's getting late, I need to go back and meditate." Hare's life was very regular, he glanced at the sky through the window, stood up and bid farewell, "If there's any trouble, come find me."

"Hmm!" Tanton saw Hallet off, closed the door, and then saw Jackson standing by the table, scratching his ears and cheeks, wanting to drink fine wine but not daring to take it.

"He is a true holy knight, with impeccable conduct." Holma exclaimed in admiration, "This kind of moral integrity is even rarer than legendary-grade equipment."

"Go ahead and drink!" Tong Dun relaxed, although Jackson was still afraid of death, he had killed several people, which relieved a lot of pressure on him, worthy of reward.

"What a brilliant master!" Jackson hadn't finished praising when he grabbed his wine glass and poured it into his mouth in one go, the sweet taste making him feel like bubbles were bursting.

"The herbs I bought from Barak the Minotaur have gone unused for a while, might as well process them all today and consider it practice." Tondron wasn't sleepy, nor did he feel like going to the underground city to hunt ghouls, so he decided to do some potion configuration exercises instead.

"Very well, the experimental building of the Magic Medicine Industrial Giant is ready for you, and you can enter at any time." The magic book floated in mid-air, casting two beams of light that formed a red cross, which then unfolded into a gate of light.

  Downton enters.

The surroundings were pitch black, and Tang Don quickly took over the oil lamp handed over by Mo Dian.

The dim yellow light spread out.

A twelve-sided hall appeared in the field of vision, with walls made entirely of a white metal that was full of texture.

It must have been a long time since anyone had come here, for the floor was covered with a thick layer of dust. As Tanton walked across it, he left behind a trail of footprints.

"Go to the gate at ten o'clock." The magic book floated over, stretched out its elemental arm, and pressed a few buttons on the magical lock above. With a 'click', the metal door slid open to both sides.

"It seems like an abandoned laboratory!" Tang Zheng frowned, "How are the equipment preserved?"

"It's not abandoned, this is the seventeenth owner of the Magic Canon who urged to build and has ownership of the lab, it's just that the years are too long, so it looks old." Holma explained, "Don't worry, all instruments have been sealed by me, no damage was done."

"Didn't you say that the lab building belongs to Umbrella Corporation? But they don't have a branch on the West Coast!" Danton looked at the unfamiliar architectural style in surprise, "Are we not in Raccoon City anymore?"

"Yes, specific location, don't ask, I won't say." Mo Dian comforted, "This is for your own good."

"Alright." Danton also understood that his strength was too weak and he didn't have the qualifications to share the secrets of the magic book. To avoid feeling depressed, he changed the subject, "There are scratches on the wall made by sharp blades, did a battle happen here?"

"Yes, there was a biochemical toxin leak incident, and some monsters were infected, but don't worry, it's been thoroughly disinfected, no residue left." The magic book projected the magical flame text, with a sigh, returning to this place, bringing back many memories.

Following Mo Dian, Tang Don entered a medicine room. The place was very spacious, with six rows of long rectangular tables, which were the experimental platforms.

Behind them were ten large glass cabinets standing upright, storing various equipment and commonly used medicines.

"It's okay, I recognize them." Tong Dun let out a sigh of relief, the big library had done its job, and the books he borrowed had introduced them in detail, so he wouldn't be grasping at straws.

"Let's clean up first, then you need to memorize the laboratory manual. I don't want you to die or become disabled because of incorrect experimental procedures." Mo Dian found a familiar cabinet and took out a mop and bucket.

"Let's get to work!" Tong Dun was very diligent, after all, the entire experimental building would be his in the future, so he had to keep it clean and tidy.

"The configuration steps for the primary treatment potion are quite simple, and at your level, it shouldn't take much time. So I've prepared a new potion formula for you, which can not only exercise your operation skills but also improve your meditation efficiency after use." The Magic Book had already checked the inventory of herbs in the War Space, and they were just enough.

"What's the medicine?" Tongdon dragged on the floor and thought of another question, "Right, what's the experiment building called?"
