The Arabai suddenly lifted Kuma as high as possible. From his hand flowed a bckish energy that was absorbed into Kuma’s body. At that very moment Kuma screamed, he seemed to be in pain.

  “Kuma! What are you doing to him?” Jyu shouted.

  “I think we should stop him,” Taffie said softly.

  Taffie wanted to attack immediately, but after taking just one step, she stopped again. Now there were three mystical creatures at the Arabai level that had suddenly appeared. In terms of strength, it was clear that Taffie’s group would not be able to win.

  “Stay right there! You are outnumbered now!” said the Arabai who was holding Kuma.

  “That was true earlier, but not now,” Taffie said confidently.

  In an instant, her demon appeared. It was truly a terrifying figure, like a long-haired woman wearing a tattered robe, a mask, and two horns rising from her forehead. In her hand, she held a beautiful sword.

  Even more surprising, Taffie’s demon seemed to use a shadow technique. Suddenly, her body multiplied, a total of four demons ready to fight.

  They attacked, including Taffie. The mystical creatures did not stay still either, they also moved forward to protect the Arabai who was performing a ritual on Kuma. A high-level battle broke out.

  For Jyu, this was an amazing sight. But this was not the time to be amazed. He had to save Kuma from the mystical creature's grasp immediately. Quickly, he charged forward while releasing a fairly strong ssh of energy.

  No one knew what he meant, but suddenly Kuma seemed to suffer even more. His small body trembled violently, his mouth and eyes opened wide. From his eyes, a tiny light could be seen shining.

  The sky slowly split apart, and all eyes were now directed upward. The battle between Taffie and the mystical creatures stopped. They were stunned!

  “The dimensional portal has opened!” said Taffie.

  Sure enough, the sky had opened wide as a sign that the dimensional portal between the human world and the realm of Darkent had opened. That meant all mystical creatures could freely enter and leave. Slowly, the mystical creatures began to appear and enter the human world.

  At that moment, the ritual performed on Kuma stopped. Kuma was immediately thrown in front of Jyu with a weak and helpless body.

  “Thank you for the power you lent!” said the Arabai.

  At the same time, Master Jenna and Master Felix arrived. Both of them showed panicked expressions because the dimensional portal had opened.

  “What have you done?” shouted Master Felix with burning anger.

  “I only removed the barrier between us. Now we can live side by side, hopefully we get along!” said the Arabai.

  And they disappeared, as if swallowed by smoke.

  Now, the situation in the human world was truly critical. Many mystical creatures appeared and preyed on humans. Many victims had fallen, and of course, the DV Army was overwhelmed trying to eliminate all the mystical creatures. Everyone bmed Jyu!

  But after that unexpected ritual, Master Jenna immediately took Jyu to the DV Army headquarters. There, he was interrogated about the events that had just occurred. Every possible way had to be found to close the dimensional portal again.

  The human world was threatened with destruction!

  “Did you hide Kuma’s power from us?” Master Jenna asked calmly.

  At this moment, Jyu was in Master Jenna’s room. Master Felix, Wirtz, Taffie, and several other high-ranking members of the DV Army were also present. Taffie was also called to expin what had just happened.

  Jyu continued, “Actually, Kuma is a bear demon who walks upright like a human. However, my demon was cursed and eventually sealed inside a teddy bear. He is now waiting to be freed, but there is one condition. This condition is what I do not know, there is no information about it in my rune.”

  “Sorry! But all the information about Kuma’s power has already been given to you. That is all!”

  It was clear that everyone was thinking hard while digesting Jyu’s words.

  “Most likely, the way to close this dimensional portal is by lifting that curse. I believe Kuma’s main power is a devastating punch, while imagination is an additional power from the doll he possesses,” said Master Felix calmly.

  What Master Felix expined made a lot of sense, because in truth, demons are spirits that have risen again. If they possess a new entity, it means they gain new powers.

  “Understood! It has already been done,” expined Wirtz.

  “Fufufufu! Now let us return to saving as many human lives as possible,” said Master Jenna. And at that moment they all dispersed to carry out their duties of eliminating the mystical creatures.

  But not Jyu, he was now locked in prison. His sin was so great that human lives had been lost, eaten by mystical creatures. A trial awaited him, and the worst possibility was being imprisoned until death or immediately executed. There was no good news for him!

  Everyone was busy with their own duties. The intel team analyzed the avaible information and searched for a solution as quickly as possible. Meanwhile, all DV Army soldiers went out to the streets to fight the mystical creatures.

  However, most of the ones that appeared were low-level mystical creatures. Arabai or Devils were rarely seen. They only appeared occasionally, capturing humans and then escaping back to the Darkent realm.

  This was the problem, capturing them was difficult because mystical creatures seemed to flood the human world. Just killing the low-level mystical creatures was already exhausting, let alone fighting those at the highest level.

  In the middle of this chaos, Wirtz suddenly came to visit Jyu in prison.

  “Come with me now!” said Wirtz while opening the iron-barred door.

  Jyu obeyed. With weak steps, he walked while thinking about his unfortunate fate.
