Chapter 053: Reunion with Yuner

  Chapter 053: Reunion with Yun'er

The three figures who had just charged forward suddenly froze as a series of sharp claps echoed in their ears. The sound carried a faint but powerful energy, causing their eardrums to ache.

"Who's there?!" Huang Bo's expression darkened as he scanned the source of the sound, his eyes filled with wariness. He barked, "Show yourself!"

"Impressive, truly impressive. Three grown men ganging up on a girl—how shameless..." A mocking voice rang out, and from the shadows, a figure clad in black robes slowly emerged.

"It's you!" Huang Hai's eyes widened in recognition, and a bone-chilling killing intent flashed across his face. His voice was low and filled with venomous hatred. "You dare show your face again?"

"Playing the hero isn't as easy as it looks. I suggest you leave now if you value your life," Huang Bo said coldly, his eyes narrowing as he studied the black-robed figure. His tone was icy, but there was a hint of caution in his voice.

"Big brother..." Huang Hai whispered urgently, his hatred for Yang Tian burning so fiercely that words couldn't express it.

"Shut up!" Huang Bo shot his brother a glare, then turned back to Yang Tian, his expression growing colder. "Leave now, or else..."

"Heh." Yang Tian shrugged, his gaze flickering dismissively over Huang Hai's venomous expression before softening as he turned to Xing Yun'er. "I know her. You can leave now."

"What a lucky girl, to have obtained an inheritance," Yang Tian remarked, noticing the crystal orb in Yun'er's hand. Inheritances in Martial Mountain were rare, and those who obtained them were even rarer.

"Is that... Brother Yang?" Yun'er's heart trembled as she stared at the familiar figure. His movements and demeanor reminded her so much of the person she knew.

"Arrogant!" Huang Bo's face turned icy, his fists clenched so tightly that they crackled. A terrifying aura surged from him, pressing down on the surrounding space.

"You two, capture the girl. I'll handle him," Huang Bo ordered, his body shooting forward like a gust of wind, charging straight at Yang Tian.

"Don't worry, big brother," Huang Hai said, his gaze fixed on Yun'er. He and the other youth launched their attack, their energy surging as their robes fluttered.

"Kid, meddling in our affairs will cost you your life!" Huang Bo's fist, glowing with blue light, shot toward Yang Tian's chest.

"Big talk," Yang Tian sneered. With a lightning-fast punch, a crimson fist imprint collided with Huang Bo's attack.

  **Boom!**

A dull thud echoed as Huang Bo's arm bent slightly, pain flashing across his face. A faint cracking sound could be heard as he was sent flying backward.

"Since you're here, you might as well stay," Yang Tian said, shaking his head. He stomped his foot, his body surging toward Huang Bo. At the same time, his palm curled slightly, and a powerful suction force erupted.

  **Bang!**

Huang Bo's retreating body stiffened as the suction force took hold. His expression changed as he saw Yang Tian closing in. In a flash, a blue spear appeared in his hand.

"Another peak Profound-grade artifact. These people are really wealthy," Yang Tian muttered, glancing at the distant battlefield where the other two were attacking Yun'er.

Although Yun'er's vitality far surpassed the two attackers, her lack of combat experience quickly put her at a disadvantage.

  **Clang!**

The spear trembled, its energy filling the air as Huang Bo's expression grew serious. Without his weapon, he would have been killed in a few moves. He couldn't afford to underestimate the black-robed man.

"Kid, worry about yourself!" Seeing Yang Tian distracted, Huang Bo's anger flared. His energy surged, and a blue spear energy shot forward like a whip, aiming to slice through Yang Tian.

Yang Tian's fist shot out, crimson energy swirling around it. Like an unstoppable iron spear, it tore through the blue energy, shattering it with a single punch.

The sheer force of the attack startled the other two, who stared in disbelief. The black-robed man's power was almost on par with a saint-level figure.

The tale has been stolen; if detected on Amazon, report the violation.

"Where did this guy come from?" Huang Bo's face paled. In his hand, a jade slip suddenly appeared. He crushed it, and a strange energy spread, causing the space around him to ripple.

"Not good!" Yang Tian's pupils contracted as he rushed toward Huang Bo, his energy surging. His fist glowed with crimson light, stars flickering within it.

"Get lost!" Huang Bo roared, his arm swelling unnaturally. His muscles twisted, veins bulging as his arm grew three times its normal size. A terrifying aura erupted from him.

"Mountain-Shattering Fist!" Huang Bo bellowed, his massive fist glowing with blue light as it slammed toward Yang Tian.

  **Boom!**

The two forces collided, sending dirt and debris flying in all directions. The shockwave tore through the surrounding trees, creating a miniature tornado.

  **Crack!**

Bones shattered as a ragged figure was sent flying. The other two stared in shock at Huang Bo's mangled body, especially the deep claw mark on his chest.

As the dust settled, the black-robed figure emerged, a faint smile on his face as he patted Xiao Bai, who lay curled in his arms.

"Let's go!" Huang Bo, lying on the ground, suddenly stood up and fled without hesitation, leaving behind a roar of frustration.

"Trying to run? Did you ask for my permission?" Yang Tian sneered, his body shooting forward like a gust of wind. In a few breaths, he appeared before Huang Bo, his palm slashing down like a blade.

  **Bang!**

Huang Bo's head exploded in a shower of blood and flesh.

"He killed my brother... he killed my brother..." Huang Hai muttered in terror, his mind blank with fear as he stared at Huang Bo's lifeless body.

Before he could react, a green sword slashed toward him, cutting off his arm in a single stroke.

"Ah—you bitch!" Huang Hai screamed, his eyes filled with venom as he stared at his severed arm, still twitching on the ground.

Yun'er's expression was cold as she raised her sword again, aiming to finish him off.

"Stop!" A furious shout echoed as three figures rushed toward them, their speed like lightning.

"So strong," Yang Tian muttered, his expression grave. The three newcomers were far stronger than the Jiang family members, especially the leader, who exuded an aura of extreme danger.

"Yun'er, let's go!" Yang Tian shouted, his palm slashing out with a gust of wind that sent Huang Hai and the other attacker flying, their bones shattered.

"Are you really Brother Yang?" Yun'er murmured, her heart racing as she stared at the familiar figure. A look of joy spread across her face, her beauty blooming like a lotus flower.

"You dare kill my outer valley disciples and think you can escape?" The leader, a young man in black, seemed to have activated some secret technique. His speed increased dramatically, leaving the other two behind as he closed in on Yang Tian.

The young man, around fifteen or sixteen, had an eagle-like nose and thin lips. His aura was terrifying, and his cold gaze sent shivers down the spine.

"That's the inheritance," the young man said, his eyes fixed on the crystal orb in Yun'er's hand. The energy radiating from it stirred his greed, though his gaze flickered with a hint of caution when it landed on Yun'er's face.

"He's strong. Could he be a saint-level figure?" Yang Tian thought, his expression serious as he faced the young man.

"Brother Yang, his name is Huang Li. He's a saint-level disciple of the Yellow Dragon Valley," Yun'er whispered, her face tense.

"Yellow Dragon Valley," Yang Tian muttered, his brow furrowing. The Yellow Dragon Valley was a top-tier force in the Eastern Continent, its reputation rivaling that of the ancient Li family.

"Hand over the inheritance, and I'll pretend today never happened. Otherwise, both of you will die," Huang Li said, his gaze flickering between the three corpses and the crystal orb in Yun'er's hand.

"I..." Yun'er tightened her grip on the crystal orb, her eyes darting between the three men and Yang Tian. After a moment of hesitation, she threw the orb toward Huang Li.

As the orb flew through the air, Huang Li's eyes lit up with excitement, but his expression quickly froze.

"Silly girl, do you really think he'll let us go if you hand over the inheritance?" Yang Tian said, grabbing Yun'er's hand with a chuckle.

"Oh..." Yun'er's heart raced as her hand was enveloped in Yang Tian's firm grip. A blush spread across her cheeks, though there was a hint of panic in her eyes.

"Ahem..." Feeling the slight tremble in Yun'er's hand, Yang Tian quickly let go, his face flushing with embarrassment.

"Giggle." The warmth of Yang Tian's hand lingered as Yun'er stared at her own, a faint sense of loss in her heart. When she saw Yang Tian's awkward expression, she couldn't help but let out a soft laugh.

In front of them, the three young men's faces grew colder as they watched the two, their anger boiling over.

"Yun'er, stay close to me. Don't give them the inheritance," Yang Tian said, stepping forward with a smile.

"Don't worry, Brother Yang. I won't give it to them," Yun'er said, her eyes sparkling with joy as she looked at the black-robed figure standing protectively in front of her.

"Kid, don't think you can play the hero and walk away unscathed," Huang Li sneered, his voice dripping with sarcasm.

"Heh, no need to worry about me. If you want the inheritance, come and take it. Just don't lose your life in the process," Yang Tian retorted with a shrug.

"Sharp tongue!" Huang Li's fists clenched, his face twisting with rage.

  **Whoosh!**

Huang Li's figure blurred as he appeared beside Yang Tian in an instant. His hand glowed with a strange yellow light, distorting the air as it slashed toward Yang Tian's vital points.

  **Boom! Boom! Boom!**

Yang Tian unleashed three rapid punches, his crimson energy surging as he shattered the incoming attacks. The shockwave forced him to take a step back.

"Not bad for a saint-level figure," Yang Tian muttered, shaking his numb fist. If not for his monstrous physique, his hand would have been shattered.

"Kid, if this is all you've got, you're not cut out to be a hero. Today, you'll die here," Huang Li sneered, his two companions charging toward Yun'er.

"Don't be so sure," Yang Tian said coldly. A terrifying surge of energy erupted from his body, the crimson river of blood and qi above his head churning violently. A faint pressure began to spread.

"Not bad," Huang Li muttered, his energy surging as well. The space around him seemed to tremble under his overwhelming presence.

"Yellow Extreme Hand!" Huang Li shouted, a massive yellow hand appearing above Yang Tian. The fierce energy it radiated distorted the air as it reached for the crimson river above Yang Tian's head.
