I should be thinking about the math quiz I have later, but I can't get him out of my head. The black ink snaking up his arms. The smooth helmet hiding his face. The way his shirt clung to him, tracing every line of his abs. Who was he? I definitely would've noticed someone like that if he went to school here. shit, everyone would..

My locker screeches open louder than usual, making me flinch. When did it start sounding like that? I shake my head and grab my textbooks before slamming it shut like I can shut my thoughts up with it. "Earth to Ivy." Kate's voice cuts through the fog as she waves her hand in front of my face. "I've been calling you for like ever, what are you thinking about that you're ignoring your bestest friend in the whole wide world?"

I roll my eyes and start walking to class, forcing my legs to keep moving despite my brain completely shutting down from the image of Mr. Mysterious Biker Guy.

Kate gasps and falls into step beside me. "Don't tell me you're still thinking about Theo! You know he's with Queen Bitch. And honestly, he wouldn't appreciate you anyways!" "Ok first of all he would NEVER be with me - I'm not in his league. And secondly I'm not even thinking about him!"

"Then who ARE you thinking about?" Kate presses, practically bouncing next to me. " Is it Kyle from math? Sam from Chem?" She gasps dramatically. "Oooo - is it Mr. Anderson?! He's kind of a silver fox if you're into that whole distinguished older man type of thing. Not my cup of tea though."

I look at her with wide eyes and gasp like I've just been caught. "Oh my god, Kate - how'd you know? I just LOVE Mr. Anderson! I just had to get that A+, you know?" I barely hold the smirk before we both burst out laughing.

"For real though," she says, nudging me. "who or what were you thinking about? I'm dying to know over here!"

We reach the door to our classroom.

"Hmm... maybe I'll tell you later," I tease. "But only if I can get your mom's famous muffins." "Deal!" She grins, already pulling the door open.

I slide down into my seat and do my best to tune out the lecture, my eyes drifting toward the window. The teachers voice fades into background noise as I focus on the trees swaying in the breeze, the wild edge of nature that borders the school.

  That's when I see it.

A motorcycle - sleek, dark, and out of place - parked just beyond the student lot, half hidden in the trees. I blink. That's strange. No one parks out there. No one's supposed to.

I narrow my eyes, trying to see if anyone is near it, but the trees have become still. Too still. A chill crawls up the back of my neck. Suddenly, I feel it- eyes on me. Heavy. Burning. Like someone's watching me through the trees. I scan the tree line again, heart beat picking up, but see no one. No movement, just trees and darkness. The feeling doesn't go away until the end of class where I leave the room.

As I step into the hallway the strange feeling of being watched lifts. I rub my head thinking I'm just hallucinating when all of a sudden I hear someone. "Beautiful" they whisper. I freeze. That voice. Deep. Smooth. Sexy. Close. I turn, but the hallway is nearly empty. Everyone rushing to their next class. No one's there. My heart slams into my ribs. I rub my arms and head to my next class, shaking my head like I can knock the confusion loose. What the hell is happening to me?
