Wholesome Interlude

Waking up, still inside the crib, the Magnet peaked her eyes open.

No signs of an older sister or any peky mother's or fathers anywhere.

  ‘The coast is clear!’

  The Magnet sits up,

From the information collected, over the past few (three) days after birth, the MC has not been born yet. That clarification was lost in the original work.

Well, the other clarifications that was given by the novel was that; the Oricale family was a viscounty, there were five members. A mother called Mary Oricale, a Father named Raian Oricale, an older sister named Julie Oricale, an older brother named Terrace Oricale, and the magnet, Arianne Oricale with the unborn daughter, Emilia Oricale, being the MC.

  ‘Will you be quiet.’

‘Not until you tell me everything!’

  ‘But I already did.’

Positives thoughts were… strange, to say the least.

The Magnet moves their head towards the giant and imposing door.

‘There is no way the only fate for us is death!’

‘There is, it is simple. For us, the villainess, as you say, deserves death.’

  ‘But it was so painful!’

  Creeeak~

The creaking of the door snapped the Magnet out of the conversation between the two poles.

A girl, around six, inside of a frilly dress and a small purple bowtie stood at the doorway.

  ‘...sister.’

The little girl ran up to the crib and stared at the Magnet.

“Isn't a baby not able to sit up?”

Hearing that, Negative made the Magnet lay back down.

  ‘Moron!’

The sister, Julie Oricale, looked at the Magnet with shakey, confused eyes.

  “Did you just… understand me?”

When she heard those lines, the Magnet felt an incredible sense of dread, as if something was staring at her.

  Something… incomprehensible.

  ‘...what?–’

  ‘Do. not. Do. Anything.’

Unnoticeable, the Magnet began sweating as she did not move.

“Maybe… that was a coinkydink…” she said as she sighed and gently began caressing the Magnets head.

In turn, that sense of foreboding feeling vanished.

  ‘What was that..?’

The Magnet leaned into the touch unconsciously, honestly due to the fact it was the Negative's side.

‘I call it the ‘Author’ due to the fact it only happens when I deviate from its disgusting script.’

Stolen from its rightful author, this tale is not meant to be on Amazon; report any sightings.

The Positive looked dismissive as Julie continued caressing her head.

  ‘mmmmhmmm~’

“You're a very weird baby.” She said affectionately as she continued her actions.

  ‘Listen!’

  ‘I am!’

Snapping out of the hypnotising effects of a nice pat, Negative looked at the little Julie.

A slight tint of her skin with slight pinkish eyes, her hair had the same brown as their mother–Mary Oricale.

  “S-sis!”

Another voice came from the door, the Magnet turned her head to the door while still being caressed.

“It's not a good idea! What if papa comes! Or even worse… mama!”

A little boy, no older than four, peaked his head in nervously.

  ‘brother…’

Terrace Oricale, his skin the same but with dark red eyes instead, matching their father, with a slightly brighter tone of hair from his sister.

He rushed in while speaking urgently, “w-what if–” to be quickly interrupted by Julie, “nothing. Because we are bonding, like how mommy does!”

The little kid reaches the cribs edge, looking down at the Magnet.

  “...s-she does look cute though…”

“Cuz mommy made her! And daddy helped, I guess.”

  ‘Wait… sister? Brother? Then… these two cuties are… a-are…’

  ‘Not again!–’

‘THESE TWO ARE THE MAIN SUPPORTING CHARACTERS! JULIE ORICALE, THE SWEETEST OLDEST SISTER AND TERRACE ORICALE, THE MOST PROTECTIVE OLDER BROTHER!’

Noticing her blank face, Terrace points at her face while softly speaking.“She looks distant…”

“She is just a baby, Terry!” Julie adds, “There's probz nothing in her head!”

The Magnet snaps out of it as she looks at Terrace.

  ‘Is that…’

“Let's go now, I don't want mama or papa to know we went to see her.”

  “Sigh, fine. Big baby.”

She grabs his hand and begins to leave the nursery, “Lets go–” as they turned, they saw a tall, muscular man at the door, with deep red eyes and dark brown hair, his skin slightly light.

  ‘...father.’

“Kids.” His voice is flat but his eyes look at the two kids with soft eyes.

The two kids stand there, caught and guilty.

  ‘wait… so that's–’

‘I swear to everything that is holy, if you scream one more time, I will FUCKING END YOU!’

‘O-okay… Well, uh… is that Raian Oricale, the most caring and protective father..?’

‘Yes. Yes he is, now BE QUIET!’

  ‘yes…’

  “Papa…”

  “Daddy…”

“What are you two doing here?”

He picks the two up, one in each arm, as he pecks their foreheads.

“We wanted to see our new sister…”

“I tried to stop her but she wouldn't listen!” Terrace accuses as he points at Julie.

He let out a small and deep chuckle at the two bickering and walked towards the crib.

“You two, it's alright to visit her, just make sure to tell mother or me.”

Looking down at the Magnet. He leans down and pecks her forehead as well.

‘Wow… he really is better than my… nevermind.’

‘Most of my deaths were caused by father.’

  ‘What?’

He sets the two kids down beside the crib as he picks up the Magnet.

“She is precious, so your mother might be… slightly overprotective.”

  ‘Hah… sure.’

  ‘Are you okay?’

  ‘I'm. Fine.’

  ‘But you don't–’

‘WELL WHAT THE HELL DO YOU EXPECT!'

Positive began to breathe faster as her mental state began to slowly be revealed.

‘I'VE HEARD THIS MILLIONS OF TIMES YET MY LIFE ALWAYS ENDS THE SAME! IN THE PITS, DEAD!’

  ‘I-... I didn't know.’

Raian softly picked up the Magnet as he gently patted her pack.

“It looks like she is about to cry daddy!”

  “She probably doesn't like it…”

‘SO I'M SORRY. SORRY I DON'T BELIEVE THEM OR THAT NOW I HAVE YOU, AN ANNOYING AND LOUD INTERLOPER, STUCK IN MY DAMN MIND NOW.’

  ‘A-Arianne–’

‘NO! NO “ARIANNE” HERE. I WISH TO BE FREE! FREE FROM THIS FUCKING HELL!’

  ‘...so let's stop this.’

The Magnet seems to calm down as Raian began to soothe her.

‘Let's find an end to this story. That doesn't involve our death.’

  ‘What..?’

‘Let's find a way… to end this fate. To fight against the author.’

“It seems she is about to sleep. Let us leave and let her rest.”

  ‘alright then… interloper–...no, let's work together, Negative.’

  “Okay daddy!”

  “Okay papa…”

  ‘Let's… Positive.’

Raian sets down the Magnet back in the crib as he grabs the hand of both Julie and Terrace, walking out of the nursery.

The Magnet closes her eyes and sleeps… tomorrow is a new day, new life, new attempt.
