Age 762, November 2nd

  When Gohan woke up the sun was already high in the sky, he looked around and saw Piccolo and Raditz sitting near a fire with some meat cooking over the fire as Raditz was biting into some meat hungrily. There was a pile of bones next to Raditz while Piccolo looked at Raditz with disgust on his face, “Can’t you eat with some decency?”

  “Just because you don’t eat Namekian, doesn’t mean that the rest of us don’t get hungry. Also, I didn’t get to eat anything all day yesterday, so I’m understandably hungry.” Raditz said as he waved the piece of meat in his hand around while talking to Piccolo.

  “Well… at least save some for Gohan, he didn’t eat get to eat anything either. He did a good job yesterday and he is going to be hungry too.” Piccolo said with a sigh.

  “Don’t worry, I did save him some, who do you think the rest of this meat is for, also, if we need more I can just go hunting for some more.” Raditz said as he grabbed some more meat, “Oh, Gohan you’re awake come eat, I saved you some food.” Raditz said pointing at the meat.

  “You did good yesterday Gohan you passed, so like we said yesterday we will take it easy today, so eat and rest ok.” Piccolo said

  Gohan smiled as he got up and walked over to the pair and sat down next to them, “Yes.” He said as grabbed some meat and dug in and started eating.

  Gohan and Piccolo were meditating when Raditz came back from hunting for food and interrupted their meditation, “Hey guys wake up, it got dark all of sudden, what’s going on?”

  Gohan opened his eyes and saw that it was dark suddenly, even though the sun should still be out, “This happened before. Do you know what’s happening Mister Piccolo?” Gohan asked turning to him.

  “Yeah, the sky goes dark like that whenever the dragon balls are used.” Piccolo replied, “Looks like your dads friends wished him back with the dragon balls.”

  “Really my dad is coming back!” Gohan asked ughing with a smile on his face.

  “Yeah, kid looks like your da –” Piccolo was replying before he turned to look at the sky with a serious expression on his face.

  “Mister Piccolo are you ok?” Gohan asked looking at Piccolo

  “Hey Namekian, you alright, what’s going on?” Raditz asked looking at Piccolo with some concern. Piccolo raised his hand signaling for them to wait.

  Piccolo was like that for a few minutes before he looked back at them, “Sorry about that, Kami was telling me that Goku has been revived with the dragon balls and that the saiyans should arrive sometime tomorrow.”

  “How does this Kami know that they should arrive sometime tomorrow?” Raditz asked,

  “Kami is the guardian of Earth; he can sense dangers to Earth. He can sense their energy closing in on Earth.” Piccolo responded

  “Well looks like it’s finally time to see if all of our training paid off.” Piccolo said looking at Gohan and Raditz.

  November 3rd,

  Gohan, Piccolo and Raditz are waiting when suddenly they sensed two high power levels heading their way, “Looks like the saiyans are heading our way.” Piccolo said looking in the direction of the two power levels.

  “They must be using their scouters to find the highest power levels on the pnet, and with the three of us here together they would head in our direction.” Raditz said looking in their direction as well.

  “There’s a third power level closing in.” Gohan said looking in the direction of the third power level.

  “Hey guys!” Krillin appeared in front of them, “Huh, looks like Kami was telling the truth, he did bring you back. Well, if you’re on our side now I can let bygones be bygones” Krillin said looking at Raditz, offering his hand for handshake.

  ‘That’s fine with me.” Raditz said looking at Krillin before shaking his hand

  “It looks like you managed to increase your power level since the st time we met, good.” Piccolo said looking at Krillin

  “Yeah, I know.” Krillin said with a smile

  “I’m new to this sensing power levels thing, but you seem almost as strong as my nephew.” Raditz said.

  “Wait…what, how’s that possible?” Krillin said looking at Gohan.

  “It’s because he’s a saiyan you earthlings can’t really compare to us, we are a warrior race. We grow stronger with each battle.” Raditz said looking at Krillin.

  “Well… how was your training with these two?” Krillin whispered to Gohan. “It wasn’t too bad; they are pretty nice once you get to know them; how was your training?” Gohan asked.

  “I’m not allowed to talk about it.” Krillin said as he started to shake and rock back and forth.

  “O—k.” Gohan said while looking at Raditz and Piccolo who both just shrugged.

  “Well…well…well look what we have here Nappa looks like our old pal Raditz is still alive and kicking and has decided to betray us.” Said a voice in the sky.

  When the group looked up, they saw two figures in the sky who nded in front of them, one of them was a short guy with bck hair and a widow’s peak, wearing white and yellow armor with a blue undershirt. The other guy was a tall bald, muscur man with a goatee, his armor was blue and yellow.

  “I never betrayed you, I just decided to stick with my family instead of two guys who constantly ridicule me and who would throw me away as soon as I become an inconvenience to them.” Raditz said looking at both of them.

  “Haha…well if you weren’t so weak and could pull your weight maybe we would– never mind we still wouldn’t care about you.” Said the short saiyan

  “Screw you Vegeta, just because you’re the prince you think that you are better then the rest of us!” Raditz said angrily

  “Calm down Raditz don’t let them get to you.” Piccolo said,

  “Yeah, you are right, I shouldn’t let them get to me.” Raditz said after taking a deep breath and exhaling.

  “Aww looks like Raditz made some new friends.” The bald one said

  “What do we call you?” Piccolo asked, looking at them

  “I am Nappa.” The bald one said,

  “I am Vegeta, the prince of all saiyans.” The short one said, “Now tell us where the dragon balls are, or we will make you, we know they are down here.” Vegeta said.

  Gohan, Piccolo, Raditz, and Krillin got into fighting stances, staring at both of them.

  “Looks like they won’t tell us where the dragon balls are Nappa.” Vegeta said,

  “That’s fine with me Vegeta. Let me check their power level.” Nappa said as he clicked his scouter, “The kid is at 1,400, the Namekian is at 1,800, Raditz is at 2,000, and the midget is at 1,100. Ha looks like Raditz managed to increase his power level but not by much he is still a weakling compared to us; you should know that Raditz.” Nappa said grinning at Raditz

  “Nappa take your scouter off, don’t forget that fool over there got fooled by their readings and got defeated.” Vegeta said,

  “That’s right.” Nappa said as they both took off their scouters and dropped them on the ground.

  “Get ready guys.” Piccolo said to everyone.

  “Nappa let’s have some fun, I have a good idea get the saibamen ready, they should be able to make them tell us where the dragon balls are. There should be seven left that should do it.” Vegeta said.

  “You sure know how to have fun Vegeta, you’re right there are seven left.” Nappa said with a smile as he took out a small capsule with small pill like objects and put them in a hole he made in the ground and covered with dirt, then added some green liquid to it.

  “Damn it they still have some Saibamen, left get ready guys.” Raditz said,

  “What are Saibamen Raditz?” Piccolo asked,

  “They are cultivated lifeforms that are grown from soil, we use them as weapons. They aren’t that smart but don’t let your guard down they are strong, pretty fast, they can spit acid out of their heads, and they can also self-destruct so be very careful that they don’t grab hold of you.” Raditz expined.

  After Raditz expined seven short, green, bald, creatures with pointy ears, red eyes and three cws on both feet and both hands came out of the ground and started to run around the group and started to destroy things around the group of four.

  “You weren’t kidding Raditz they don’t seem that smart, but they are strong.” Piccolo said,

  “I’ll take two on the left.” Krillin said,

  “I’ll take two in the middle.” Piccolo said,

  “I’ll take two on the right, which leaves the st one for you Gohan.” Raditz said

  “Ok.” Gohan said, as the Saibamen rushed the group.

  (AN: I know that the dragon balls take about a year to recharge, and I used them for bringing Raditz back some of you may be thinking about how they found them so quickly. The expnation I have for that is simple Popo in the Namek saga he was able to find them quickly so why couldn’t he do it this time as well. I kind of want to make Popo like they made him in TFS Dragon Ball Z abridged but not 100% like that, we will see as the story continues and what role he will py. I made Gohans suppressed power level higher than Krillin’s since Gohan trained with both Piccolo and Raditz his power level would be slightly higher.)
